About
I co-founded and lead Rezilir Health in Hollywood, Florida. It is a precision medicine practice focused on brain health for patients who aren't getting what they need from conventional medicine.
I hold faculty appointments at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Nova Southeastern. Earlier roles in my career included being a Partner in McKinsey's Health Care Systems practice, Chair of the Maryland Health Care Commission, Chief Medical Officer at JenCare, and COO of a group of Federally Qualified Health Centers in Baltimore.
Training: UCLA (BA), UCSF (MD), Wharton (MBA); internal medicine residency and chief resident at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania; Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at Penn. Board certified in internal medicine and functional medicine.

Focus

Thorough assessment and development of practical plans for patients with mild cognitive impairment, early dementia as well as those who wish to have aggressive prevention. We use thorough genomics, transcriptomics, biomarkers, imaging, and cognitive testing to develop practical 6 month plans with measurable outcomes.
Working with patients to understand their particular bottlenecks and improve functional outcomes in these particularly challenging sets of conditions.
Use of personalized changes in lifestyle, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals to improve clinical outcomes.
Use of neuromodulatory therapies, intravenous therapies and hyperbaric oxygen therapy to build on the impact of precision medicine.
Writing
What in the recent literature actually changes practice: anti-amyloid narrowing, metabolism, movement, inflammation, hormones, and AI in memory care.
Precision medicine as a way of practicing: biomarkers tied to interventions, outcomes named up front, and a realistic window for measurable change.
